This Payment & Refund Policy explains how payments are processed, what methods are accepted, and the conditions under which refunds may apply when using TIDE VPN, accessible through @tide_vpnbot and tide-vpn.com.

2. Free Trial

No payment required to get started. TIDE VPN offers a 14-day free trial — full access to the Service with no credit card, no crypto wallet, and no commitment. Start via @tide_vpnbot.

The free trial period provides access to all features of the selected plan. At the end of the trial period, you may choose to subscribe using one of the accepted payment methods below. No automatic charges occur — payment is always initiated by you.

3. Accepted Payment Methods

We do not accept credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, PayPal, or any other traditional payment instruments. We do not store financial information such as card numbers or bank account details.

4. Telegram Stars — Payment Details

Telegram Stars (XTR) is an in-app virtual currency provided by Telegram. When you purchase a subscription using Stars:

The transaction is processed entirely by Telegram's payment infrastructure.
TIDE VPN receives confirmation of a successful Stars payment and activates your subscription.
We do not have access to your payment method used to purchase Stars.
Pricing in Stars is displayed within the @tide_vpnbot interface and may change based on Telegram's exchange rates.

5. TON Cryptocurrency — Payment Details

TON (The Open Network) is a decentralized blockchain network. When you pay with TON:

You send TON tokens directly to our designated wallet address, provided by the bot.
The transaction is recorded permanently on the TON blockchain.
Subscription activation occurs automatically upon confirmation of the on-chain transaction.
Blockchain transaction fees (gas) are borne by the sender and are not controlled by TIDE VPN.
TON prices are denominated in TON and displayed in the bot at the time of payment.

6. Refund Policy

We offer a generous 14-day free trial specifically so you can fully test the Service before committing to a paid plan. Because of this, all payments are final and non-refundable.

6.1. Why No Refunds?

We believe in trying before buying. Our 14-day free trial gives you full access to all features — no payment required, no strings attached. This way, you can make an informed decision before spending anything.

6.2. Telegram Stars

Stars payments are processed by Telegram. Any disputes regarding Stars are handled by Telegram's support team, not by TIDE VPN.

6.3. TON Cryptocurrency

Blockchain transactions are irreversible by design. Once a TON transaction is confirmed on the network, it cannot be reversed by any party.

6.4. Service Issues

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the Service, please contact us through @tide_vpnbot (Help → AI Support). We will do our best to resolve it or offer a service credit for the affected period.

7. Subscription Management

Subscriptions renew manually by default. Users may enable auto-renewal through the bot settings.
Your subscription remains active until the end of the paid period, even if you stop using the Service.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
Account deletion can be requested at any time via @tide_vpnbot.

8. Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. If prices change, we will notify active subscribers via the @tide_vpnbot bot at least 14 days in advance. The new price will apply starting from your next renewal, not the current active period.
